21st Annual Wammie Awards
Great news, folks! A Month of Sundays has been nominated for FOUR Washington Area Music Association Awards (WAMMIES). Easier Said Than Done was nominated for BEST POP ROCK RECORDING, AMOS for BEST POP ROCK DUO/GROUP, Ed for BEST POP ROCK VOCALIST, and Brad for BEST POP ROCK INSTRUMENTALIST. Groovy, we say....

Easier Said Than Done belies its title. For A Month of Sundays (AMOS, hereafter) seems to find making good music as easy as desire achieves satisfaction, making the music flesh with swiftness. That is no mean feat, nor a “rebuke from the gods,” as might be lightening striking, as is this CD in this region. Despite its jigsaw piece motif or the cover and interior shots (a kind of Picasso puzzle of separate, suspended, and segmented facial features), the picture fits perfectly and complements the package. There is no puzzle to solve; Ed Moreland, the brothers’ Russell (Jim & Chris), and Brad Brooks, has it all. The sum of these pieces is superb. More. . . .
